...step forward, Peter Temple, winner of Australia's most coveted literary prize, the Miles Franklin Award, for his novel Truth.
Here at Unstable Life we've been raving about this wonderful book since it was first published in the UK in January. I know of one Peter Temple convert, Roger Vicarage, who has already devoured The Broken Shore and will now presumably be rushing out to buy the award-winning follow-up.
Rumour has it that the great writer could even make a guest appearance in Newmarket later this year. We'll be sure to organise a Beverley House book signing if he does.
